This Abandoned Dog Waited 5 Days In The Snow For Her Family To Come Back

Dogs love us more than we can imagine. When people betray them, they never seem to understand what happened, even when everything is crystal clear. This is because they are so faithful and loyal.

The case of Carla is a typical example. She is a dog who was abandoned in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The dog waited for her owner for 2 days in a row until local people worried for her and called Janine Guido, an experienced rescuer and founder of a local animal rescue organization.

For the next 3 days, Janine was out there trying to save Carla, but it’s harder than she thought. The dog received some food from her hand, but whenever she tried to tie the dog on a leash, the dog always ran away.

The dog would disappear for a few days, appearing on someone’s back porch after a while, always refusing help from people.

One day, while Janine was using Facebook for a live update on the rescue, Carla suddenly appeared in the backseat of her car. She probably got tired of waiting, realized she needed help and decided to trust the woman who had been trying to save her for days.

Janine immediately brought Carla to the vet, where they found out she had no microchip and was 15 to 20 pounds underweight.

After living in a foster home with other dogs and fully recovering from this experience, Carla found a forever home and is now living her best life with her new family.
