The dog loses his desire to live and develops a fear of humans before coming to trust his new mommy

Bringing a pet into the family will always be a big decision, but how this happens will completely determine the development and adaptation between that new pet and its human family.

It’s no secret to anyone that stray dogs can take a while to gain confidence, but the gain after making that big step becomes an incalculable reward.

This fluffy hybrid was saved by a kind-hearted woman named Caitie, who was completely moved by the circumstances in which she found him. The wandering animal was thirsty, severely malnourished, and suffered from a serious skin disease.

Despite how weak Yukon may seem, when she herself baptizes him, he has the heart of a warrior and for him his protection comes first.

The creature was not aggressive at all but rather suspicious and terrifying, it took several weeks for Caitie to gain its trust.

After rescuing him, the woman took him to the vet to begin treatment for the apparent skin problem.

Yukon has undergone extensive treatment to partially restore his coat and is still in the process of being processed. Some areas cannot be restored and the animal will be hairless but these are not important to Catie.

The woman brought Yukon to her Texas ranch, knowing that this outdoor environment would be beneficial for her recovery. Not only his physical wounds had to be healed, but also the wounds in his heart and there was nothing better for that than being able to breathe some peace in nature.

As the days passed, Yukon’s fur grew and with it his confidence.

The first step that this little boy took was to let Catie caress him, in this way he discovered that it was one of the best feelings in the world and that the woman who was now his mother only wanted to help him.

The Yukon case landed in the right hands as this young woman is a feisty animal rights activist and has already rescued quite a few puppies, so she knew exactly how to proceed.

Yukon currently lives with two more canine brothers who were also rescued and have become a permanent part of the family.

He has also met other rescued dogs who have been moved to other shelters. The transformation of this fur is amazing and nothing would be possible without Catie’s cooperation.

Yukon’s story shows that nothing is impossible with love, share it and your example and Catie’s help have inspired other rescuers DON’T BUY, GET !
