The story of the mother dog Nana in North Carolina is similar.
Nana is a 4-year-old pitbull dog breed, unlike other lucky dogs, Nana is not loved by her owner, she is often beaten and starved. Even for 3 long years, this dog had to endure being chained by the owner outside the house in the hot sun.
Every time they saw this scene, the neighbors felt quite annoyed, but they could do nothing but sneak food for Nana to keep her from starving.
One day, Nana gave birth to 9 adorable puppies on the porch. But instead of helping the mother dog take care of the puppies, the owner only glanced a few times, then slammed the door behind Nana’s pitiful eyes.
With her motherly instincts, Nana quietly used her front legs to dig a small hole and put her children in it, hoping they would feel more comfortable in the harsh summer heat.
Until one day in July, Nana’s owner couldn’t stand the appearance of the ‘annoying’ puppies, he complained on facebook and hoped someone could give they go forever.
After hearing this news, the neighbors decided to do something about it. At first, they built a beautiful cage together so that the small dogs and Nana could avoid the rain and the sun. And take turns bringing them food.
But in the end, because they were quite busy, they decided to take them to live temporarily at the Faithful Friends animal sanctuary and contact the dog rescue organization Mr. Bones & Co, in the hope that the volunteers here will take care of them and find a new home. A person who really loves and cares, takes care of them.
“They sent us pictures of the living conditions and the state Nana was in,” said Elli Frank, founder of Bones & Co., told reporters. The small dogs looked malnourished and had to live in a filthy trench. That is painful.”
Elli Frank also added, as soon as he received the news, he sent his rescuers to Faithful Friends. Here the staff took turns taking care of the dogs. They even organized a lavish party for Nana and her puppies during their temporary stay at the sanctuary. And this is also the time for mother and daughter Nana to get acquainted with the staff in the rescue camp.
But even so, with her motherly instincts, Nana never took her eyes off her children. It always watched the little dogs’ every movement as if they were the last thing it could cling to in this world.
Mr. Frank said: “During the visits and care, Nana has learned to trust us and allow us to take her pups to decent homes where they will be cared for. take care of them until they find their true home. Nana knows she has fulfilled her responsibilities as a mother and can finally rest assured that her children will live well.”
Touched by Nana’s motherly love for her children, the shelter is considering adopting Nana as a true member of the family forever.
