Cases of mistreatment of innocent little animals come to our ears every day that completely outrage us. Some are used as if they were objects, in the most ruthless way, for their owners’ own amusement. These are things that we can never understand!
Like this poor puppy who was found in the middle of a forest fighting for his life
Rescue teams received a call, and luckily, they scrambled to intervene immediately. They just couldn’t understand how someone could be so mean and leave him like that, in the middle of nowhere.
The pup’s fur was dyed purple and the rescuers were actually very confused as to what could have happened.
The little boy was struggling to breathe. He looked so sad and withdrawn that the men couldn’t help but burst into tears. The puppy’s single eye had a terrible appearance. Was this the reason why he was discarded like trash? Did his owner not want to pay his vet bills? Or was it worse? Was he tortured? No one knew for sure.
The puppy couldn’t fend for himself.
They immediately picked him up and took him to the vet for proper evaluation. He received treatment for his eye infection, they fed him, gave him a good bath and above all he began to experience for the first time what it was like to be caressed and kissed. And the puppy responded with infinite tenderness to those cuddles of love.
Immediately the veterinarian revealed the main hypothesis of what was happening to the puppy and the rescuers were speechless:
“An insensitive person dyed the puppy purple. Then, upon contact with the paint, the puppy had an allergic reaction and became ill, so they disposed of it as garbage because they did not want to take care of a sick dog.
But with medical treatment and a good dose of love and care, the pup began to improve immediately. A small being of light began to resurface.
The vet was shocked to see how sweet he was and how someone could do such a mean thing to such a puppy.
He turned out to be a brave fighter, with only one eye focused on the future.
After the vet was sure he was out of danger, the pup was sent to a foster home . There he was lucky enough to meet another dog much larger than his own. His foster owner at first thought that maybe the little one would be in danger, but she was wrong. They soon became inseparable friends and the “Purple Puppy” found the best protector he could have ever dreamed of.
The dye made him sick, but with persistence and love, he had a bright future ahead of him.
Now, with the puppy safe and sound, the rescuers will not stop until they find out who abandoned him in such a cruel way, while trying to find him the perfect forever home.
