Dogs have proven to be humans most devoted and faithfulness companions, as evidenced by Boncuck, a dog who has been waiting for his owner outside a Turkish hospital for days.
Hospital staff first met the devoted dog when he followed the ambulance that brought his dad, Cemal Senturk, in for treatment. Since Cemal got unwell and had to be treated, the dog has become the most frequent visitor to the medical institution.
According to security personnel, the dog is supposed to arrive every day about 9:00 a.m. and wait patiently at the sliding glass door. He is always in the same place in the hope of seeing his dad again.
Cemal’s family took Boncuk home, but he refused to remain and continually returned to the hospital.
“Even if we take him home, he runs away and returns here to wait for my father,” Anyur Egeli, Cemal’s daughter said.
Boncuck didn’t cause anyone trouble when he was at the hospital entrance; instead, he calmly waited for the signal from Cemal. He never went inside, and when the door of the medical center opened, he just looked outside to see if Cemal was there.
The dog has been a patient in the hospital since his owner was moved, and the medical team has been impressed and affected by his loyalty. So, in his spare time, everyone brought him food and took the chance to greet him and provide him some support as he waited.
Boncuck’s attitude was so impressive that the hospital’s board of directors convened a special meeting for Cemal and his devoted companion. The reconnection allowed the dog to enter the hospital and sit next to Cemal’s bed, where he was showered with affection.
Boncuk’s joy was palpable at the time, and his demeanor had changed; he just waggled his tail and grinned to see his father.
