Despite the fact that all puppies are very special beings and full of love, there are people who keep them in very poor conditions . All pets deserve medical care, food and lots of love , but there are many, like Judas , who spend years on a heavy chain .
Judas was rescued north of Vancouver in Canada.
Judas was a beautiful German Shepherd who fell into the hands of the wrong family. Over the years, her neighbors began to notice that the innocent dog did nothing but receive unfair treatment . Not only did she spend all day in a very small space and without any comfort, but they also approached her to throw waste .
The residents of the place thought of breaking into the house in order to save the dog, but they were afraid of legal repression.
Passers-by called many times to complain about the incident but no one picked up the phone. In the end, her story reached Animal Advocates and they decided to take action on the matter as soon as possible. When they manage to get her out of there, they begin to win her trust.
The dog was rescued when it was 10 years old.
They changed her name to Judith and arranged to pamper her as much as possible so that they understood that those difficult years were in the past. The dog couldn’t walk normally because he had severe arthritis in his hip that was causing him a lot of pain.
They gave him a stroller for his hind legs so he could explore more comfortably.
Her fur is noticeably faded and she is extremely thin. When she is bathed, she is very scared, but she loves being in contact with people . Despite the cruel treatment she received throughout her life, she was never reluctant to reach out to any of her rescuers. He has made the most of each new experience and continues to return all the love he has been given.
“He had the pleasure he had been denied for so long. He can run, play, chase squirrels and socialize with other dogs.”
Within a few weeks they found a loving couple who would open the doors of their home for them. They threw a big welcome party for her and from then on they made sure that beautiful Judith lacked nothing in her new life. Unfortunately, this beautiful German Shepherd was only able to enjoy life worthy of her for 18 months .
The dog lost her life due to her advanced age.
Most people look to adopt puppies so they can spend more time with them . This is why hundreds of rescued and elderly puppies, like Judith, do not have the opportunity to find a home where they have food and all the love they deserve.
