After hearing the cry of a little dog on a barren road in Lonavala, India. A kind neighbor named Manasvi Pawase rushed to the rescue.
According to Pawase, the little dog named Yuki, she cried hoping for attention.
When Pawase heard a puppy crying outside, she went to check and found the small, 3-week-old, mouse-sized puppy right outside her door. She was melted by her cuteness and She immediately cuddled the little dog up in her sweater.
Finally safe, Yuki relaxed into the comfort of her rescuer’s arms.
“Yuki was overjoyed to finally meet a human who would give her the warmth of love,” Pawase said. “It seemed that she was deprived of it for so long.”
Pawase, a member of the Strays of Panvel animal rescue organization, started to work helping Yuki feel at ease. The small puppy settled right in and was overjoyed to unwind.
“The moment she came home with me, she slept all day like a baby,” Pawase said. “I could feel she was tired from all of that uncertainty.”
After considerable searching, Pawase found Yuki a foster home with Melisa Rego and her dog, Bailey. Yuki changed from a once-quiet newborn to a rowdy teenager. Yuki was very happy to have another dog around.
“She was a complete hurricane!” Pawase said. “Constantly running and playing around with humans, showering them with licks and love, learning to play with toys.”
Although Pawase was sad to have to let Yuki go, she was happy that she was able to help the adorable dog. She still doesn’t know where Yuki came from or who abandoned her, but she’s thankful that it all worked out in the end.
